We were 95% sure we wernt going to surf. 20ft swells, onshore winds gusting 40mph and 100mm of rain due over the weekend. But with the dooming fear of dark winter nights in mixed with some left over summer stoke we figured the 5% chance of lucking out was worth the 6 hour drive over the border, just in case...
